The 2015 International Lineman’s Rodeo Safety & Training Conference was held this past October at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, KS. The conference attracted the best linemen from around the world to compete in events based on traditional lineman tasks and skills, including pole climbing, and gave attendees the opportunity to hear industry experts speak on safety issues and hot topics evolving in the industry to promote work safe practices that help improve the safe performance of line work.
In 2001 Water-Jel Technologies participated in the Germany Institute of Emergency Medicine Study. In comparison with traditional cold water treatment, the test concluded that WJ products offered cooling
of burn wounds with no apparent clinical lowering of body temperature during the cooling phase.
